Apparent Elk Grove Murder Suicide Under Investigation

Elk Grove Police are investigating what they report as a murder suicide that occurred today.

According to information posted on Twitter, police said both of the decedents were discovered at approximately 8:46 am at a residence on the 6300 of Gus Way in the East Franklin neighborhood. The male and female where taken to an area hospital were the succumbed to injuries.

Elk Grove Police have reportedly said the incident did not involve firearms and based on information provided by family members and evidence suggests a murder suicide and there are no suspects. Information on the identity of the deceased will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner. 

Officers are investigating an apparent murder suicide in the 6300 block of Gus Way. Both subjects (an adult male and female) were found at the location and transported to a local hospital where they both succumbed to their injuries. Detectives are on scene.
