EGPD apprehends 5 suspects with outstanding arrest warrants

Through a variety of means, on Wednesday, September 20, Elk Grove Police apprehended five suspects with outstanding arrest warrants.

The suspects taken into custody included the following:

Michael Cotham, 70, Sacramento. After being arrested for public intoxication near Bradshaw Road and Criswell Drive officers found that Cotham had an outstanding arrest warrant. Cotham is not in custody.

Said Yazidi Lewis, 40, Sacramento. During a call for service on the 8200 block of Red Elk Drive, officers learned Lewis had an outstanding arrest warrant from 2016. The suspect is in custody at the county jail for allegedly driving under the influence. 

Antwon Major, 25, Elk Grove. During a call for service near  Aubrey Court and Heritage Hill Drive Major was contacted and police learned he had an outstanding warrant. 

Genairol Marquese Laurent, 30, Sacramento. Laurent was a passenger in a vehicle stopped near Bond Road and Terra Linda Drive. Officers discovered he had an outstanding felony arrest warrant from Wheeler County, Texas. Laurent remains in custody at the county jail.

Daniel Vladez, Jr., 30, Sacramento. Valdez was driving a vehicle that was stopped for a code violation near Brittany Park Drive and Elk Grove Florin Road in Sacramento. Valdez, who is on probation, had an outstanding warrant and was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance and narcotic paraphernalia. Valdez has been released from custody.
