Observers of the Elk Grove City Council have long asserted many decisions are already made before they appear on the agenda for a public hearing. During the June 26, 2024 Elk Grove City Council meeting, city manager Jason Behrmann inadvertently confirmed this long-held belief.

Let’s not forget the mayor and council’s trip to the Houston and Fresno zoos that also qualified as Brown Act violations. Now, the city officials don’t even try to abide by their ethical and legal standards. They just do whatever they want, even flaunt it in our faces. Time for replacements all around.
