In Her First Campaign Finance Report, Nguyen Collects Over $17,000 For Elk Grove City Council Campaign

In her first financial disclosure report filed with the Elk Grove City Clerk's office since being appointed to the Elk Grove City Council last year, Council Member Stephanie Nguyen reported receiving contributions totaling $18,076. The report covered the time from Nguyen's appointment last February through December 31, 2017.

Of the contributions, 26 of the 43 were from individuals and the balance from committees and business interest. The committees making contributions included the following:

  • AT&T California Employee PAC - $500
  • California Real Estate PAC - $1,000
  • Steve Hansen For City Council - 2016 - $500
  • Committee for Home Ownership North State Builder Industry Assoc. - $250
  • Re-elect Darren Suen for City Council 2020 - $250
  • Rendon For Assembly 2018 - $250

  Businesses appearing on the report included the following:

  • Dart Container, Mason, Michigan -$2,000
  • Gil Moore Oil Co. - $1,000
  • PG&E - $1,000
  • Republic Services - $1,500
Nguyen reported non-monetary contributions totaling $26; expenses of $506; and unpaid debt of $2,359. Nguyen entered 2018 with a cash balance of $17,543.
