Three Elk Grove mayoral candidates continue fundraising as ground operations start in earnest

In reports filed through today with the Elk Grove city clerk's office, the three Democratic candidates vying to be the mayor continued fundraising efforts as they crank up their respective get out the vote operations. 

In four reports Darren Suen listed four separate donations totaling $5,500 from two individuals and two businesses. The business donations included $2,500 from PG&E and $1,000 from Republic Services, the city's contracted garbage hauler.

Steve Ly, who is running as the incumbent filed two reports with six contributions totaling $7,100. One was an individual donation and the balance were from businesses with $1,100 from Pegasus Bakery, and $1,000 each from Beauty Chateau, Miyabi, Wong Dynasty Enterprises, and Good Heart Pharmacy.  

In her two most recent reports, Tracie Stafford listed one donation from an individual and another from a political group for a total of $2,000. The political donation was from the Women Democrats of Sacramento County who contributed $1,000.
