Michelle Kile files candidate papers for Elk Grove City Council District 2

As earlier reported, a third candidate, Michelle Kile, has entered filed paperwork for the District 2 seat on the Elk Grove City Council.

Kile's paperwork and candidate statement was posted on the Elk Grove City Clerk's webpage earlier today. In 2020 Ms. Kile was an early entrant to the Elk Grove mayoral race challenging former Mayor Steve Ly but dropped out when Bobbie Singh-Allen entered the race.

On her candidate statement, Kile lists herself as a businesswoman/mother. With Kile's entry, there are now three candidates running for the seat being vacated by Elk Grove City Councilmember Pat Hume who is running for the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors.
