Press release from the City of Elk Grove

ELK GROVE, CA – As part of the City’s ongoing effort to gather input from residents about the Fiscal Year 2009-10 budget, a series of public workshops are scheduled throughout Elk Grove.

Each town hall meeting will give residents an opportunity to talk with members of the City Council and City staff in order to learn more about the budget process and the City’s plans for the upcoming year. The format will allow for an open dialogue between the public and representatives from the City of Elk Grove.

In order to ensure citywide representation, the following opportunities have been set:

Thursday, January 29
Senior Center of Elk Grove (District 5)
8830 Sharkey Ave., Elk Grove
6 p.m.

Monday, February 2
Holiday inn Express (District 3)
