Elk Grove Police Bust More Pot Houses

ARRESTS MADE IN MARIJUANA GROWING OPERATION


This afternoon the Elk Grove Police Department served several search warrants within Elk Grove and Sacramento related to a marijuana cultivation operation. The warrant service was led by detectives from the Street Crimes Unit and EGPD Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team.


The warrant service took place at the following locations: 8800 block of Marlin Seas Court, Sacramento; 4200 block of Zaccaro Way , 4700 block of Coppola Circle and the 5000 block of Efthemia Way in Elk Grove. Detectives located several sophisticated indoor marijuana-growing operations at the above residences and recovered over 1,400 marijuana plants along with numerous pieces of high-tech cultivation equipment.

Detectives arrested the following individuals (booking photos unavailable): Hui Qing Chen (3-18-81), Kuntai Fan (7-15-31), Ping Min Fan (10-23-75), Andy Cam Mach (12-8-71), Nhan Sinh Tang (1-21-73), Jimmy Vy Tran (3-23-61), Phu Phung Tran (6-15-59), Terrie Tran (7-31-73) and Ermei Yee (8-18-41).

All nine individuals are currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of 11358 H&S (Produce or Cultivate Marijuana), 11359 H&S (Possession of Marijuana for sales) and 182(A)(1) PC (Conspiracy).
