Elk Grove Road Detour Alert: Highway 99 Closures at Sheldon Interchange

From July 26 to July 30, construction work on the Sheldon Interchange will require evening closures on Highway 99 from 10:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Northbound and southbound Highway 99 will be closed nightly during this period. Representatives from the California Highway Patrol will direct both northbound and southbound Highway 99 traffic.


Detour signs have been placed to notify drivers about the closure and detours.
The Sheldon Interchange reconstruction project remains on schedule, with completion expected in fall 2009.
