Elk Grove Police Arrests Several DUI Suspects, Passengers Over Weekend

The Elk Grove Police arrested nine people this weekend on suspicion of drunk driving.


Nine of the arrests were made on Friday night-early Saturday morning and the rest occurred early Sunday morning. Three of the incidents involved collisions.

Officers also arrested passengers in two of the incidents. In the first incident a 32-year old Antelope female suspect was reportedly arrested under California Vehicle Code 23152 (a) and (b). It is not clear why the female passenger was arrested as this code applies to drivers.

In the other incident, a 25-year old Sacramento male suspect was arrested for public intoxication while a passenger.
