No DUI, public intoxication arrests

For the weekend period ending earlier this morning, Elk Grove Police reported only three notable incidents.

On Saturday morning police arrested 50-year old Scott Reaves of Elk Grove for violating terms of a domestic violence restraining order.According to police, Reaves entered the residence of his victim at approximately 11:52 and called the victim.

The victim then contacted police who located Reaves at the residence where he was arrested and transferred to the county jail.


Police also made two arrests for outstanding warrants. Early Saturday morning 38-year old Stephen Magee of Elk Grove was taken into custody. On Sunday night, 23-year old Jerald Thomas of West Sacramento was taken into custody.

Police summaries also reflect no arrests this weekend for public intoxication or DUI. With the three day Labor Day approaching, Elk Grove Police also asked motorist to call police if they see impaired drivers on the road.

Elk Grove Police will conduct a DUI checkpoint this weekend. Specific details
are not yet available.
