Police find man allegedly stuck on the wrong side of the law

Peace officers found a 26-year-old man about 1:30 a.m. Monday in a truck stuck on the tracks at Railroad Street and Elk Grove Boulevard and arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving, according to Elk Grove police reports.

Michael McDaniel of Elk Grove was discovered behind the wheel of the vehicle. He reportedly "displayed objective signs of impairment" and was taken into custody on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, reports stated.
