New Sutter Surgical Center in Elk Grove to Break Ground Tomorrow

Elk Grove Mayor to Participate in May 17 Event

Elk Grove Mayor Steve Detrick along with several Sutter officials will preside over a ground breaking ceremony tomorrow morning in Elk Grove. Joining Detrick will be Andrew Hudnut, M.D., Sutter Medical Group Division Vice President of Elk Grove and Thomas Blinn, CEO, Sutter Medical Foundation

The ceremony marks the start of construction of Sutter’s Elk Grove Surgery Center. The facility will take a year to build and, once fully operational, should accommodate approximately 1,250 outpatient procedures in the first year.

The event will take place at 11 a.m. at the Sutter Laguna Medical Plaza, 8170 Laguna Blvd., Elk Grove.
