Elk Grove Joint Public Safety Forum Next Week

Elected officials of the Elk Grove City Council and the Cosumnes Community Services District (CCSD) will be hosting a “Joint Public Safety Forum” of the Elk Grove Police Department and the CCSD Fire Department.

This important forum will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Elk Grove City Hall , Council Chambers, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a meet ‘n greet networking reception. The forum will begin at 7:00 p.m., Elk Grove City Hall , Council Chambers, located at 8400 Laguna Palms Way, Elk Grove, CA 95758.

Residents are urged to attend this Public Safety Forum to join with neighbors and representatives from the Elk Grove Police Department and CCSD Fire Department in developing strategies to improve safety in our community. Elk Grove Police Chief Robert Lehner and CCSD Fire Chief Tracey Hansen will be spearheading presentations on street and home safety and tips to identify problems and safety and crime prevention strategies.
