Two Robbed at Gunpoint, Store Employee Threatened With Knife

Two people were robbed at gunpoint and a store employee was threatened with a knife in three separate incidents in Elk Grove yesterday.

In the first armed robbery, the 59 year-old male victim was walking along W. Stockton Blvd. near Crichton Way yesterday morning when an unknown suspect jumped out of a blue minivan and pointed a gun at the victim demanding his personal property. Fearing for his safety, the victim complied and the suspect fled in the vehicle.

The suspect was was described as a black male adult, in his 20’s, 5’6” to 5’8”, with black short hair and was wearing a light gray jacket with dark pants. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects or the suspect vehicle.

In the second incident, the 20 year old female victim was in a parked vehicle yesterday afternoon on the 8400 block of Bradshaw Road when she was approached by two Hispanic males. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at her and and demanded her personal property.

After complying with the demands the suspects fled on foot and were seen driving away in a gray pickup truck. The first suspect was described as being 17-20 years of age, 5’7” with a thin build wearing a gray beanie with tassels, dark jacket and unknown color pants. The second suspect was described as being 17-20 years of age, 5’5” and was wearing a black zipped hooded sweat shirt.

Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects or the suspect vehicle. The victim was not injured.

The third incident took place last night at the Aaron Brothers store on Laguna Blvd. According to police reports the suspect entered the store and told an employee that he was there to pickup an order.

The employee was unable to find the order and walked into a back room to look for the item. When the employee exited the back room, the suspect grabbed the employee and put a knife to the employee’s back.

The suspect demanded money from the business and the employee complied with the demand. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 28 years of age, 5`11" with a slender build (between 130-135 lbs.) and short spiked hair and was wearing a black shirt, jeans and carrying a black shoulder bag. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect and the employee was not injured.
