Two Elk Grove Gun Stores Victims of Burglary Attempts

May 9, 2016 |

A trio of unknown suspects tried to robbed two gun retailers within 10 minutes early Sunday morning in Elk Grove.

The first incident occurred at 6:10 at the Laguna Gun Shop on Kasuen Drive when three suspects used an unknown vehicle to damage the front entrance to the Laguna Gun Shop and its neighbor Laguna Tire and Wheel. The suspects entered the business and conducted a search for property.

Ten minutes later a trio matching the same description using the same modus operandi entered MTG Firearms located on the 9100 block of Franklin Boulevard.

No weapons were stolen during either burglary and an inventory is being completed by the business to determine what was taken. The suspects were wearing masks, hooded sweat jackets, gloves, and jeans.
