We thought Pat Hume was our Mayor? If this is right, is Jim Cooper going to be our next Mayor?
Is this just a clerical error?

"No, that information is not correct. Councilmember Gary Davis was appointed to the SACOG Board with Vice Mayor Sophia Scherman as the alternate. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will have our community calendar updated with the correct appointees."

I have heard rumors that Cooper has been trying to work a deal with Davis and Detrick for the Mayor slot. They would bypass Scherman and Detrick would be Vice-Mayor. This would allow Cooper to run for Sherrif as Mayor of Elk Grove.
