Police Report Calm Four Day Holiday in Elk Grove

Over the course of the four day Christmas Holiday starting on Thursday, Elk Grove Police reports show a relatively calm period.

During the four day holiday, police made five DUI arrest, two for domestic violence incidents and one car robbery arrest.

One that got away

In one incident that happened early Saturday morning, police initiated an enforcement stop on the 8400 block of Harbor House Court for a vehicle code violation. The unknown driver failed to yield and drove into a nearby neighborhood.

The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers were unable to locate the driver but did contact the passenger who displayed signs of impairment.

35-year old Rajeshree Willis of Rancho Cordova was arrested for public intoxication and transferred to the county jail. It is not known who is vehicle's registered owner.
