An Elk Grove man was arrested Monday morning following a domestic violence incident that included flashing a gun at a passerby.

According to Elk Grove Police, officers responded to a call on the 9300 block of Heather Gate Way after receiving a call about a man with a gun in front of the residence. When officers arrived, two individuals ran back inside the house and closed the front door.

Officers instructed the occupants come out, but they refused. Additional officers arrived and a perimeter was established around the residence.

Officers were able to make phone contact with the occupants and convinced them to come out. At 3:19 p.m., 21-year-old Trevor Solari male and two female juveniles ages 17 and 16 exited the residence and were detained.

During the course of the investigation, officers conducted a search of Solari's residence and located a pellet gun. Officers later determined that Solari was involved in a verbal argument with juvenile victims while in front of the residence.

During the altercation, Solari reportedly brandished the pellet gun at a passerby then picked up his victim, who began kicking and screaming and took her inside the residence against her will.

While inside the residence, Solari allegedly assaulted the victim. The victim displayed visible injuries as a result of the suspects actions.

Solari was arrested then transferred to the county jail.
