Pedestrian robbed at gunpoint during mid-afternoon incident in Elk Grove

A pedestrian was robbed at gunpoint as he walked the streets of Elk Grove yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, just after 3:30 p.m. the victim was walking on the 8200 block of Dandelion Drive near Roy Herberger Elementary School in north Elk Grove when he was approached by a grayish colored vehicle. When the car stopped, a suspect described as a male Hispanic male between 20 and 23 years of age exited from the driver's seat and approached the victim.

The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded his property. While the gunman's was robbing the victim, the accomplice, described as an Asian male adults between 20 and 23 years of age, left the vehicle and entered the driver's seat.   

After taking the property was stolen, the gunman entered the passenger seat, and the vehicle drove away. The victim was not injured.
